Ok...
I have had my case on my nano chromatic since I have bought it. Overall, this case is alright, but the screen doesn't look that good when its on after a while, and my case just recently broke because the plastic strip had fallen off from the inside. This case does well with impact and i would suggest buying it from Amazon because the prices for this at Wal-Mart are way more expensive. I would also sggest the Otterbox Impact Series case for this iPod if you want a better case.

Warning!!!
This item snaps on and does not come off (so far for me!). It looks nice, but I could not get the volume control to work while case is on (hard plastic!), so I thought I would just take the case off, but it seems the inventors did not think that far as there is not a way to take it off without (I think) using something to pry it open from the inside out. I am worried about scratching my ipod but don't know what else to do!!!! Do not waste your money.

Almost perfect...
I got this case when I ordered my nano from amazon. It's cheap and I needed something to keep my new baby safe from the depths of my bag. The only thing I don't like about it is that the screen isn't covered. I can plug in my headphones fine and access the hold button fine. I can plug in the dock connector cable ok. Can't dock it with the case on though (and it's a little hard to pry off). So, that sucks. But for the money, this case is awesome.
If the lack of screen protection is a deal breaker for you (or the lack of docking capability) I suggest the agent 18 case. It covers the screen and comes with both a universal dock adaptor that will allow you to dock with the case on, and a headphone cord keeper thingie. I'll probably splurge and get one, but in the mean time, this case is doing a great job. thanks!
