You can admit it: As much as you love your iPod classic, sometimes you wish it had more flair. Lucky for you, GelaSkins wraps supply an ultra-clear coating with a photo-quality finish, making for the most attractive scratch and dust protection that money can buy.

Looks can be deceiving...but in a good way.
Simple, easy? You bet, and I've never been one of those that can color in the lines, if you know what I mean... What I mean is that if you make a mistake, you can take it off and reposition very easily, so if the first try is a no go or second or more, no worries. Just make sure your hands are clean and especially the surfaces of you ipod. You don't want dirt or lint getting trapped underneath. Though not necessarily harmful, it won't lie smooth or stick as well. They also provide a plastic square, in which the screen sticker is placed behind it, to help with alignment, which I didn't use at all. How to use it is another thing and since they didn't give any suggestions or hints, I didn't bother. But, don't loose that because it's supposed to help remove the skin later on.
Directions are pretty straight forward and are visual than written. I'd start with the largest sections and work your way down to the button skins. Just make the front sections line up because you can get caught up in the big parts and forget to line up the buttons right so that the image is right. Again, repositioning is one of the benefits of this product. Everything gets covered except for the sides, top and bottom. When you remove the skins for each sections, there will be thin outlines of each, which you'll need to make sure doesn't get put onto the ipod. Otherwise there will be overlap and it'll look wrong. And yes--I did that on the buttons accidentally and realized the overlap and it looked wrong.
Overall...easy, simple. The only small issue is the click wheel, which isn't as touch sensitive, but with a little finesse and finding those sweet spot, it works fine. And I can't stop looking at it, nor can other people. It's quite original and individualistic. The image is top quality reproduction and the feel of it is nice too. Not only that, the skin looks like it was printed on the ipod rather than a gel skin on it. While it won't protect you ipod if you drop it, like a case would do, it will protect the front, back and screen from most major scratches. The skins aren't flimsy or weak, so they've got some give and stretch. If you're rough with things, this product is not for you. But for me...perfect.
Makes my iPod stand out
Now my iPod doesn't look like a "typical" iPod. I just wish I'd have had this product when my source of music was fresh, new and unscratched. It was very easy to apply, too. Love it.
Just so you know...it's a sticker
I love this product as far as how my iPod looks. It's not bulky at all, like most iPods get with huge cases...but the problem is this isn't a case. It's a sticker. Which means if you drop it in a puddle or on the floor, it might have some issues, whereas if you got a case, the damage would be smaller. Otherwise, I love this product.
